We chose organically grown quinoa flour as our base ingredient. Quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) is a complete protein with an essential amino acid profile similar to milk and has the highest protein content of any grain. Additionally, quinoa is considered to be a hypoallergenic grain. We then combined the quinoa with oatmeal, brown rice, sunflower oil and the most natural delicious peanut butter made from fresh peanuts - and voila!...Mr. Pugsly's Peanut Butter Biscuits.
